ChromeCast - What Good Is It? 5
Got a Google Chromecast for Xmas. Played with it for about 2 hrs, then unplugged it. Seems the things I wanted to use it for … youtube streaming … isn’t supported.
Update Feb 2014: In the last few days, the Chromecast has become useful to some level here. It is still mainly useful to people with Netflix and HuluPlus Paid subscriptions, but there is hope.

I’ve been playing with XBMC on an Asus Eee 1008H for a few months, but never bothered to set it up as the main player in the house. This weekend, I attended a demonstration of XBMC at a local computer security meeting and was impressed. Very Impressed. Below are some tips that I learned setting up XBMC on my home network.
